A passionate and introspective artist, Phoenix’s journey into music was born from personal pain and emotional release. Starting as a 12-year-old writing poems and songs for girlfriends, his relationship with music was initially a private form of expression. However, after a devastating breakup at 15, Phoenix burned his early works, thinking he had left his creative side behind. Years later, another painful breakup — involving betrayal — led Phoenix back to writing, this time using his emotions as a way to heal.

The turning point came when he shared a song with a friend, who compared his lyrics to eminem. Though the initial collaboration fell through, Phoenix took matters into his own hands, finding a beat-maker on SoundBetter. What followed was a creative partnership that ignited his career in music. His first song, Don’t Cross Me, though raw and unpolished, marked the beginning of Phoenix’s musical journey.

Having written over 400 songs, Phoenix describes his music as therapeutic, deeply personal, and often born from hardship. Themes of love, heartbreak, and existential struggles dominate his work. His music is a mixture of rock and hip-hop influences, blending soulful lyrics with energetic beats, shaped by his producer, Chris (aka Big Duke), and collaborator Drew (aka Chillr). Phoenix’s sound evolves with each track, using different producers to expand his sound and drawing inspiration from his own life experiences, including the grief of losing family members to suicide, struggles with mental health, and most importantly the love of his life.

Despite never intending to become a public artist, Phoenix now finds himself ready to share his songs with the world, driven by the belief that his music can help others heal as it did for him. With an ever-growing catalog of heartfelt songs, he hopes to inspire listeners, proving that music is not just entertainment, but a lifeline.
